May 20, 2021 – Madeline Cramer is the recipient of the J. Thomas & Linda Sobieski Scholarship, in the amount of $1,500.00 through the Johnstown Chapter of ASHRAE. The ASHRAE Scholarship Program awards scholarships to men and women who are qualified to practice as Engineers in HVAC&R. Madeline was an intern with East Hills Engineering during the summer in 2019 and 2020, where she quickly became an integral part of our team.
Madeline just completed her 3rd year of study, majoring in Architectural Engineering at Penn State University’s main campus. She carries a 3.68 cumulative QPA and upon completion will earn her Bachelor of Arts in Engineering. During her short time with East Hills Engineering Associates (EHEA), Madeline proved that internship programs give both the intern and the hosting company opportunities to learn. She is a quick learner, a great listener and a tremendous overall person.
Christopher Albright, P.E., LEED AP , current sitting Chapter President for Johnstown ASHRAE and Principal at EHEA, had the honor to present the scholarship to Maddie at the Chapter’s recent Spring Sporting Clay outing. We were just as excited to present our “gag” version of the scholarship check as she was to receive it. Congratulations & best of luck to her and in her future in Engineering!
