Windber, PA, June 9, 2026 – East Hills Engineering Associates, LLC is pleased to announce that Mr. Bruce Chappell has been promoted from Senior HVAC Designer to HVAC Department Manager.
As the HVAC Department Manager, Bruce will take on greater responsibility within the HVAC Department and will oversee the HVAC design process. He will engage with the company’s clients and use his learned skills to help provide HVAC systems design in line with East Hills Engineering’s mission to create quality, budget-appropriate, high performing engineering solutions.

Mr. Chappell is a Graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute, Pittsburgh, PA where he earned an Associates of Applied Science in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. His duties have included System Design, Surveying and Analyzing Existing Building Systems. He attends design meetings and implements energy efficient and cost-effective construction strategies. Mr. Chappell has been an integral part in a wide range of HVAC Design varying from Elementary/High School, Boiler Systems, Standard Office Space, Healthcare and Chilled Water Systems. He comes from a strong background in HVAC Design from his previous work background which helps to aide in his thought process of HVAC Design to provide accurate working Drawings and avoid field installation conflicts.
When he’s not at work Bruce enjoys camping, fishing, hunting and outdoor adventures with his two boys and daughter and also mentors his daughter in showing animals at local county fairs.
