May 27, 2021 – On September 4, 2020, our East Hills family suffered the loss of co-worker Amanda Boring, when her life was tragically taken as a victim of domestic violence. She left behind 2 young boys and a community of family, friends and colleagues who remain heart-broken at the loss of such a wonderful soul. Amanda had an infectious smile, a bright personality and incredible sense of humor. She made everyone’s day just a little brighter and was a very proud “Mom-of-Boys,” as she would love to say! She is very sadly missed but is spoken of often, as she left behind many fond memories to look back on and share.
In an effort to keep her memory alive, we planned a full week of activities from May 3rd to the 7th, which was her Birthday week.
On May 7th, 2021, our entire staff participated in “Mandee’s Memorial Day” which included the installation of a garden, the planting of a Japanese Cherry memorial tree and a “Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful” litter pickup along a 3 mile stretch of road by our office. We have also added an orchid to our vestibule, and purchased a picnic table in her memory. May she always be “Rooted in love, Forever in our Hearts.”
